12.08.15 Visual and Performing Arts PLC

1.       CSIP Strategies = Yes. A must. I look forward to follow-up.
a.       Common Strategies – See Math Example
b.      Questions to consider:
                                                               i.      Will this action support all (or at least most all) students becoming proficient and distinguished?
ii.      If not, what possibly could? Think holistically here.
2.       Pacing Plans = Celebrate and reinforce growth.
3.       SGGs = Let your team know we will have one PLC in January that is all about the SWAG (Student Work Analysis 4 Generals) using SGG skill work.

11.10.15 Visual and Performing Arts PLC

CELEBRATE – Let's hear some great news!!!

SGG RUBRIC AND BASELINE ASSESSMENT
a.       Since we’ve done the baseline assessment, we need to make sure that all of the different aspects of the SGG tracking document (the bottom part) are filled in (to be finished by 11/10.) We need to continuously make sure that the tracking document is a continually evolving conversation.
b.      Celebrate success in completion and plans to drive forward!

a.       Continuing to input our units/lessons/plans into the document. (Ideally having this finished by Christmas will help us to create something much more useful and something that we can continually refine and edit.)
b.      Weekly plans linked with all of the various descriptors filled out as well.
