PL"C"SAH Agenda 4.30.13

Best PLC in the Planet,

Leslie will be LEADing this PLC as I will be in KTIP Cycle 3 Meetings today.

Here is the agenda:
  • PL"C" S vs. PLVS?  What is the difference?  Leslie will explain.
  • ASSIST TIME.  Leslie will log-in and show everyone how Program Review info is logged into ASSIST.
  • Writing Assessment Year #1 Review.   PLCS and AH teams will divide to review the document.  If you have not added your writing assessments, please do so before the PLC meeting.  The link is on the link bar.
    • Questions:   Which types of writing are we having students do most often as a PLC?  Where are the gaps?  What are our plans in year #2 to have more "across the board" writing opportunities for our students.  Please post the answers to these questions on our blog.
  • Lastly--All department visions must be sent to your PLC LEADERs as stated in the Moose Quarterly.  If you have not submitted a vision, you need to use this example to create a first draft and submit it to me no later than May 15th.  We will be assessing our initial year one drafts at the next PLC to see where we are and where we need to go for year #2.
I thought this might help clarify the "Types of Writing" column you are asked to fill in:
